Stacey was selected to speak on contested case hearings at the Annual Groundwater Summit held by the Texas Alliance of Groundwater Districts in San Antonio, Texas on September 1, 2022. Stacey will speak on contested case hearings when a groundwater application is protested. Stacey was recognized as a Texas Super Lawyer, a honor received by less than 5% of the lawyers in the state.

Stacey was recently selected as general counsel for a groundwater conservation district allowing her to enhance the depth and breadth of her water law practice while also utilizing the valuable legal skills she has obtained from her broad litigation practice. Stacey continues to represent private clients in all faucets of groundwater permitting and related litigation.

Stacey will serve on the case law panel at the annual Texas Groundwater Summit on August 28-30.

Stacey was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Civil Litigation Section of the Austin Bar.  Stacey will serve a three year term beginning in August 2017.
