Meet Stacey
Stacey Reese represents both plaintiffs and defendants in a broad range of civil litigation matters with a strong emphasis on business and commercial disputes and water-related litigation. Her business and commercial case experience includes high-value contract disputes, intellectual property, fraud, tortious interference, and breach of fiduciary duties. Her water representation includes serving as general counsel to groundwater districts and representing private clients in all faucets of groundwater litigation including permitting issues, “takings” claims, contested case hearings, and administrative appeals. Stacey is also frequently retained by local firms as a critical member of their trial team on complex litigation matters.
Stacey has been recognized by Texas Super Lawyers in 2014-2016 as a “Rising Star” in Business Litigation and as a Texas Super Lawyer in 2020-2024. Stacey was also named one of the 18 best Austin litigators by Expertise in 2017 and 2018. Stacey started her own firm in 2013 after she worked for over six years in the litigation section of a prominent Austin-based firm.
